We bought prime origins guide to exploring Kruger and prime origins guide to best birding in Kruger which is on the same model , last February in KPN .
This books are mines of information , they are probably the best
purchase whe have done this year :lol:

have also had this book from south africa, a great book with some good information and...
some dodgy pencil drawings of animals, luckily not many, but why do it when you can get grat photos.
dont get me wrong i have the 300 page version and it is great.

Apart from calling wild dogs, hyenas on a photo towards the end of the book, I also think that this is a very handy book to have. :D

I did see it on my last visit, but that was in December. I have both the general guide and the "Best Birding in Kruger", guide. They are gems. I page through them when I feel "homesick".

I have been looking for this book every where, even the publishers were sold out, I never saw it in any of the camp shops I was at during december, but on my way out of the park after the cricket we stopped for breakfast Afsaal, I spotted the book at the humble little shop at afsaal. :mrgreen:

If any one is interested they had quite a few copies left.
