If nobody else is about to ask a question, how about this (partly based on a 'Round Britain Quiz' offering of a year or 2 back)?

A Russian novelist, a German ex-Chancellor and an American film maker met in a place better than elsewvere, and there collected samples of the local speciality. They then went to set up camp near the River of Joy. What was their dinner?

River of Joy: more recent park literature has this as an interpretation of the meaning. Older literature says "from the mountains". (this may be a clue. But the whole thing does describe part of what we do in a park.

Rosemary: wrong Russian. The one I'm thinking of was a Soviet-era writer who won a Nobel prize for literature with a book that was made into a Hollywood movie, the soundtrack of which still surfaces occasionally.

One would presume the "delicacy" was Mopane worms...

Chancellor maybe Willie Brandt?

Or is this much older, as they set up camp themselves?
