I took this photo on 21 August from the track that goes up to the lookout on the east side of the river crossing. The new bridges were complete but not yet open. Obviously you only get the dramatic view up the gorge from the bridge that crosses the river.

Did the walk to the suspension bridge today and although I almost died walking up and down( a lot of steps and ups and downs!!)the view and sight from there is really nice! Can recommend it to everybody! Even my grandma of 78 made it all the way and back!

Every time I've visited Storms River, there has been a problem with the bridge. Hope next time I will get to see what you enjoyed, Gerharddb.
