No correct answers yet .

Phalaborwa & Mopani both fall within the Xanatseni region . The KNP is divided into 3 administrative regions , the northern Xanatseni region from the Limpopo down to the Olifants, the central Nkayeni region from the Olifants down to the Sabie river and the southern Morula region from the Sabie down to the Crocodile river .
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

Thanks for the info ndloti. When i typed in Xanatseni into google earth it took me straight to Mopani camp..... maybe that's the headoffice of the region??? who knows. Will think of where this spot is though....
You might get me out of the bush, but you won't get the bush out of me, it's deep in my heart

The trunk is similar to maroela in some ways , but the crown makes me think otherwise . I have the pic on desktop and I am slowly making my way through Piet v Wyks "Field Guide To The Trees of KNP" .
