As an aside - I see you are using the American version of the spelling of Hyaena i.e. Hyena(Pg 309).

My husband has just spent 3 days at home with 'flu - unheard of for him not to go to the office - and has devoured Silent Predator, Far Horizons and African Sky in that time. He loved them all!

When will The Delta be released in South Africa?? I think we will have to buy 2 copies, or there will be a huge fight.

Glad your hubby's liking the books. I've been offline for ages as Mrs P and I have just been to Zim, Botswana and Namibia. Crossed back into SA at the Kgalagadi and had a great time there. Now en route to Kruger next weekend, for about eight weeks in the Park.

The Delta will be released in SA in March 2011, by my new UK-based publisher.

Bush Happy, I don't know why my publisher favours (or is that favors, lol) American spellings for some words, but not for others!

Hi Tony. You must be having an awesome trip. Is the next book going to be about Kgalagadi?? The history is fascinating - just imagine what those early settlers/farmers must have faced.

We will be in Kruger towards the end of November. I'll pm you to see if we can actually meet up this time.

I'm very keen to do a book on the Kalahari area in general, and it'll give me a good excuse spend more time in the KTP for research purposes!

When I was in Australia a few months ago, Rusky so kindly gave me his copy of Zambezi. I really treasure that book and it was such a wonderful read. Waiting for The Delta to come out over here, but it looks like it'll be next year. It would be awesometastic if you wrote anything about the Kalahari

Hi Tony...thats great news to hear there's a new book coming out...I am eagerly awaiting "The Delta!" I loved all the others!

Tony's latest book, Delta, is now available in South Africa. Hooray!!!

Bought my copy today at Estoril Books at Fourways Mall (didn't seem to be in stock at CNA) and am looking forward to reading it -just have to find the time to sit quietly and get down to it!

I ordered a coy of The Delta from Exclusive books last year, and received it about a month ago. Once i started reading it I could not put it down and finished it within a week. It was absolutely fabulous - one of Tony's best books. I would love to be able to visit all the places that are mentioned in the book, but that is not possible. Keep up the good work Tony, we love your writing!!! I will now have to wait in anticipation for the next new book!! I have copies of all Tony's books, maybe I should read them all again!!
