looks like certain creatures are reaaly sought after.

The Cerval, honey Badger, Black Rhino and also Roan have made a fair mention.

So if i had to be bird specific and what other items would we add. We've had the Scops Owl, Giant Eagle Owl and also Malachite Kingfisher. Any others.

This is all very exciting. We'll in the South of KNP for a week at the end of October and can't wait to knock off a couple of the 'never seen' list. Those Black Rhino's and other hidden charachters won't know what hit them. Not to mentioned my 'hunt' for the Whalbergs Eagle and also the Giant Eagle Owl.

The Forum is brillinat for giving voice to the masses and also for everybody to read about what to look forward to on their pending visists to Gods Garden.

I would love to see Reedbuck and a Shrew. One very early morning at the Talamati Camp we were going to the hide at the waterhole and we thought we saw two reedbuck. They unfortunately disappeared when we approached and as we were not certain we cannot say we indeed saw reedbuck. I know to spot a shrew is more difficult. We however saw a family of very big rats, also very early morning from the hide in front of the waterhole at Talamati. The parents were huge with some smaller rats – the children

Time to re-activate a good old thread. The count is back on for our next trip. Not seen a Blackie, ever. Also keeping my fingers crossed for a Eland and a Pels Fishing owl. Saw a Caracal in Lower Sabie on the sunset drive last year Nov. Was a mega wow moment!

What animals have you still got on your wish lists?
