I started updating our maps for our July visit and found another two sightings of Kamea…

This one is posted in the public gallery by Danielle Scheepers near Skukuza on 5 January 2010

And then found this one on the forum, posted by Maiper (posted March 2010)

Hi SW,
I see you go to the KNP on the 1st of July 2010. We will leave Pretoria on the 2nd of July 2010. Also hope to see a few wild dogs and Kamea as well.
(Will have a yellow and red ribbon on my vehicle ).

Hi

I believe Muhammad must have seen her and the 2 young ones on the same day as us - 5 December 2009. When we got there the 2 young ones was laying in the road and she was standing next to the road. There came a lot of OSV and they ( the wild dogs) set of back in Skukuza's direction. At a stage right into a herd of Impala. I will try and post pictures later today!

That was our second WD sighting in the park. Now that I know she has a name I'm very excited

So pleased to see she is around the same area still. I'll be looking out for her in that part of the park between 29th August - 1st September. Can't wait!!!!
