That last pic of the baboon giving you the finger has to be one of the best pics I have seen for a long time.

And RP, you are twisted enough not to need that pic for your avatar

I love watching the babies play, but grew up on a farm where the resident troop of baboons used to cause untold damage to the ripening fruit orchards, so I don't like the big ones too much

In the Star today:
How Cape Penisula Baboons have learned how to tell whether tourists have locked their car doors:
People stop their vehicles, and the vehicles get damaged. (The Baboons are waiting for the sound of the car alarm. If they don't hear the "tweet tweet", they make for the door. While the toursits stand amazed at the vista and the view, the baboons go for the door and say, "well that doors's not locked"

Very clever hey :D

Saw the followig rather sad sights on my visit to KNP this last weekend.

That hole in the muzzle was very red which can be seen on one of the photos.

Then there was this one

Interesting, both of these were seen alone-maybe injured in a fight. How both of these got this kind of injury would be interesting to know.

And I think we should all appeal to Richprins to keep the family feuds less violent

Cheers

Noel
