Great sighting Sprocky :thumbs_up:

Also got to see my only sighting of one about 3 weeks ago on the S145, not too far from Talamati turn-off. Moved off into the long grass so no pics :wall:

Maybe you should post more animals that "elude" you, Sprocks, so you can see them the next week. :wink:
Great sighting ... beautiful animals - once you see them, you cannot mistake the BBJ from the SSJ.

We saw two of these animals very late afternoon just east of the turn-off to the Napi Camp on the H1-1 on 15 April 2010.

There seems to be a resident one at the Fairfield waterhole close to Talamati on the S145. We saw him twice. If you go our early and just sit there, he comes along, we actually spotted him while watching some Saddle bills.

Sorry about the quality, it was still dark

This morning I spotted one of these jackals on the Napi Boulder gravel road. I have video and photographs. It hung around for a number of minutes. My party and I were really excited. This was my first SS jackal in Kruger.
