Great pics!

The most interesting place I have recorded this bird was a good number of them in a little valley area next to the one house you can stay over at on the 4X4 trail in the Karoo National Park. It was June/July around 2002/3.
Wonder if anyone else has seen it in this Park?
If I remember correctly it wasn't on the list and at the time no books showed it coming anywhere near the locality at all!

Well, considering that one of your locations are in the Waterburg area….you might find the following interesting. :wink:
This is not my best pic of this specie, but it was quite special to, this past weekend, have a sighting of it in Marakele. 8)

Am pretty sure I saw one on Welgevonden (adjacent to Marakele) a few years ago but didn't get a positive ID :(
