Wow, this really is amazing  …thanks for the link andynct!!! 8)
The Cape Cobra is possibly seeing the Puff Adder as food. Cape Cobras eat other snakes and the Puff Adder is actually eaten by quite a few other snakes, including the Mozambican Spitting Cobra.

A few years ago while walking on the concrete road down Table mountain..yes there is a road up the Constantia side of the mountain. I saw a log in the path and my foot was millimetres from standing on it when I realised it was a pufie and I have never jumped so high in my life !!! puffie gave me a dirty look as snakes can and went into the grass on the side of the path, All the real Hugh was worried about was how he would have to carry me down the rest of the mountain, this was before the cell phone. Now I am wary of logs on paths.
Warm Welcome Andynct

 thanks for the link andynct
Question here, is the puffie's venom poisonous to other snakes?
Let us permit nature to have her way. She understands her business better than we do.
