Hailey - all those stripes going round and round

It was a hyena-fest at Nossob this day in November Half an hour after the brown hyena had come to drink these spotted hyenas turned up Then a big flock of birds came along and scared them away!

I think a few of us were a bit worried when we saw this impala in the waterhole yesterday, struggling to get out. I thought "animating" the sequence might show whether she fell in or just wanted a swim. What do you think?

I would think the association of water with crocodiles would mean she most likely fell in. Alternatively, she may have thought it was shallow and therefore safe. Well the water only comes half way up the ducks!

These animated images are really catching on. I've asked the 'powers' to maybe reduce the number of posts per page to reduce the number of downloads all at once. That should make it a bit easier to use. Keep them coming.
