No fancy equipment used, just my Nikon D90 with a Sigma 150 - 500mm lens on a Manfrotto tripod with a remote control. I would love a 600mm with a 1.4 TC one day...

I made use of the camera's mirror lock-up delay to eliminate any vibrations.
EXIF data for most shots are around:
ISO: 200
Aperture: F9 to about 11 (depending on how "bright the moon still is)
Shutter Speed: 1/500
Exposure: -0.3 EV

I always shoot the moon in full manual mode to have full control. With the moon quite full, AF does work, but as soon as the moon get smaller and darker, I switch over to MF.

Those pics are fantastic   Wish I could have watched it myself, but unfortunately the sky was full of clouds.

Thanks for sharing, Switchback,

It must have been awesome to watch this spectacle but we on the Nothern hemisphere had grey clouds on the sky so no chance to see something

Thanks for all the kind comments! This is just a result of taking MANY photos of the moon before and learnt what works best for photographing the moon. I would love to get my hands on some decent equipment one day to take some REALLY nice photos though.

Professional photographer... I wish. No really, I do wish to be one, but I guess that's only the dream. 8)

Nice pics Swithcback. You had me worried there with your settings. Your pics are a lot brighter and cleaner than mine, but apparently you were using round 1/16th the light. Considered switching to the dark side for a split second

But I had a peak at your exif and now I feel a bit better
