Hey guys,

was wondering what ever happened to the photographic club? if im not mistaken there have been only two? The one i went to was hosted by switchback and learnt a lot from other photographers.

Why not lets try our luck on a third one? any ideas and dates? pref. places in jhb ?

Yes, I have organised both previous ones and have since tried to organise more outings, but because of a lack of interrest they were cancelled.

In the beginning there was quite a bit of interrest in a SANParks Camera Club with the purpose of such outings and to have an exclusive club. I'd say you are more than welcome to organise us another one and hopefully there will be more interrest this time. I'll be the first to attend such an event again!

A place with a nice bird hide or something alike is always a good idea.

I can see from all the replies what you mean . Been looking for some bird places myself around our part of the world when i find a nice one ill drop you a call or sms and we can mabye go on a saturday or sunday. Hope you well !!

Who would be up to go to tree haven again like the second meeting? There were some great pictures taken and im sure we all have a little more knowledge so lets go again next month ? Who is up for it ?

You can definitely count myself Back to Nature and Holigan in just name date and time tree haven is good but hey not a "freezing" morning like last year please LOL.

Ok lets set up a date for the 12th of June 2011? If you would like to come please put your name down. We might be able to have a nice guest come along but we need to settle on a date before we can make any plans. So lets get this ball rolling............... Who is in?

Ok we can try again. I had a back op on Friday so lets make it in 3 weeks time around the 23rd of July. I know the monkey sanctuary (harties) offer discount to photography groups so lets try there? or Austin Roberts bird sanctuary...
