What about it did you change? To me it looks a bit washed out (which may be what you were trying to do).

Great photo Scipio! It looks as if those elephants like destroying the trees? :hmz:

I'm finding it a bit difficult to formulate an opinion on the effect. I'm getting distracted by the bushes in front of the elephant.

Do you perhaps have another shot with a less obscured elephant (but with the same colours) on which you could try the effect?

JL, dont you think that the bushes/trees create a natural ''frame'' for the elephants though :hmz: i think it gives a good effect

Very Nice Photo Scipio
Love the aged effect, the bushes give it a feel, without them it would just be two elephants and no frame!

No. For me they obscure the elephants and detract from the image.

The same effect would be achieved with bushes behind and around, not in front of, the elephants.

My issue is with composition/choice of image for 'playing'. All I'm saying is that I find it hard to comment on the effect, because of the image composition.

Having said all that, I think you have achieved your goal of aging the image Scips :) I do find the sky at the top of the image quite blown out though.

I think it's beautiful. :) The bushes in front make me wanna go around it. So the picture definitely draws me in. Very good indeed. Kind 3D like.

I'm not a very good photographer but I comment on what the photo is saying or showing to me, and in this case it shows the destruction of the trees! :(

In my opinion, that makes you a good human and audience :)

I don't believe I'm a particularly good photographer either, by the way.
