I was hoping that someone might be able to help me in making sure that monitors that i use are correctly calibrated. The other day i edited some pictures on my laptop, got home and connected to a different monitor and found that the colours were completely out, but now im worried as to which one is out :?

link to color calibration
But your screen must have the default settings again
I use the Spider 3.
Not to difficult and you can calibrate as many screens as you like
As you found out. On your own screen (where you adjusted bright light, more colour etc) it looks great. But on another screen its

But if you search for info about your computer screen you will find some standard calibration info as well.
In short
After the calibration your whites on the screen (as the white area i am typing in at the moment) is of white (very tiny greyish)
And grey will look like grey and not blackish

This Eizo monitor may be a great one for the photographers here. Well, the more financially capable ones that is... The only price I found so far is 1500 UK pounds.
