Scipio, just watch your images, I know rules are ment to be broken, but with landscape photo's it is a good rule of thumb to have 1/3 distance to your subject and 2/3 background. On your image, just watch for too much foreground - unless you want to illistrate or point out something specific. On that shot, less foregrounf and a bit more sky would've done the trick.

Granjan, nice use of diagonal line!

Meandering Mouse, wow! Well exposed shots from a different angle!

Micetta, the river is in the middle: This is a great example of how to break the trusty rule of thirds! The river greates a sense of depth with it's triangle it's forming while foreground creates hight and not cluttered.

Thank you.
Joshilewis not film Nikon sdlr. I used an overlay / texture to give it vintage look. A stocking over the lens also gives a great effect.
Caracal I love your pics. I have a birthday around the corner and a
new lense would be a great gift  . What lens did you use?

Thx again giraffee :D
These photos were taken with a Canon EF-S 10-22mm 3.5 on either a Canon 40D or 50D body...........
I also think a new lens would make a good gift

I especially like this photo. I often try these kind of shots but you've got the compisition nicely. What focal length did you use for it btw?
