 Post subject: Frog: Clawed Frogs (Platana)

i won this frog at a festival about 6 months ago but i never knew exactly what type of frog it was. i looked at pictures trying to figure it out and i recently saw that i resembles an african clawed frog can anyone confirm this for me?

Looks like one of the platanas to me (clawed frogs).

That's a platanna for sure.
There are 3 different species in Southern Africa
which one from that picture is pretty hard :)

That is common platanna Xenopus laevis tadpole.

What type of frog is this? it is soo tiny...while sitting watching the elephants drinking water at the Sabie River...I looked to the road and saw this tiny frog hopping in the road towards the river.
