You might just have...... alot of Boomslang have moved in our "human" forest in JHB. I spoke to a "snake relocator" that said he removes a few from the more "tree'y" area (he said Northcliff) every month.

Boomslang from Northcliff? That's the first I've heard of it, and I live in Northcliff. Plenty of "tuinslange" around here, but not many boomslange...

I am 100% sure they miss id it with spotted bush snake that is common in Jhb, I have never seen a boomslang before, we don't get them here.

I didn't see the snakes and just got the info from the Snake handler/keeper/milker/trainer. I don't think he would get his snakes mixed up.

But I don't want to get into a debate about it.

I agree, there is no use in debating imaginary snakes but it is unlikely that the person mentioned would get those two mixed up. The closest boomslang I know of are from about 30km away so it's not impossible at all.

The reason I questioned it was because I'm jealous as I also want them in my garden!
