Boomslang,

I repeat there are NO green mambas in Kruger.

This specific boomslang, Meinfam, interesting enough is a resident @ that hide. He(or is it a she?) featured on 50-50 on sunday where it had a huge "skuimpadda" in its mouth, trying for all money to swallow it down.

directly translated,
skuimpadda= foam frog.
It is most likely not the exact term for the frog but will give you some idea. :wink:

Maybe the tree frog because it builds foam nests... ?

I am not sure Meinfam, but it could very well be the same snake.

Arks, yes, sorry, the english name is foam nest frog.

) ... I'm getting a bit better with guessing at Afrikaans words, since I'd guessed it might be a kind of frog — wasn't there something about "skilpadjies" (which I'm sure I'm spelling wrong) some time back??

Yes! Ask Meg about it... :twisted:

She still sport with the blond award because of exactly that. :lol:

Skilpaadjies = small - turtles, terrapins, tortoises.

It is an Adult HE

In SA Green Mambas are not found more than 7km inland :wink:

There are 1 or 2 exceptions to the rule, but up to 20km has been recorded in 1 instance
