Password & mobi log in.

Unread postby NetEk » Fri May 17, 2013 3:41 pm

Okay I'm a blond please help.....
When I'm not in the office I sometimes spy on you on the mobi site but I can't get logged in there, it keeps telling me I have to type in some "code" that doesn't display...

Then my other problem  I don't know my password....... My PC in the office automatically logs me in and I have forgotten what the password is.

Can somebody help me please.... I want to stop spying and start writting especially with a trip coming up that I can post on the road.
I live in my own little world. But it's okay they know me here.

mine also gives errors on mobi

To reset your password, log out on pc.
Re login but say you forgot your password
You will receive a temp password.
Login with that, and then goto control panel and you can change your password there
You are required to put in current password to make changes, hence asking for the temp one from sanparks.

After that you should be able to login on your mobile

The mobi site does not display the pic, so just click forgot password.

Its just below your username and password.

Then go through the same process on your phone with the temp password.

CV I found the "seceret" you have to link in to the forum with the link on the email when you get your password. If you use the normal way in it gives you that complete the "invisable" code thing.

My son isn't here at the moment and I can't quite understand what you mean NetEk without looking at his phone. (I'm also blonde!!!)

When he comes at the weekend we will try, and if we still can't, we will contact you for step by step instructions.

He is trying to register, so doesn't have a password yet, so will it work to click on "Forgot password"? :hmz:

Val, when he registers he will get an email sent to him. This will contain a link that he needs to click on to complete his registration. This is to check that his email address is valid. Once he has done this he will be registered. What NetEk is saying is that you have to follow the link from the email, rather than going into the forum and trying from there.

Sometimes following links on phones don't work, they just take you to the front Mobi page so he might be better to try to to complete the registration on a PC or laptop.

Hi Sara
He didn't get as far as having an email sent to him.
If I remember correctly, he filled in the required details, and then came across the message to copy the code which didn't exist, so that was that!!!! He could not register!!!

When he comes this weekend, could he use my laptop to register, and then he will have a password to change....................would that work?

I don't want the Mods to think that I am registering myself under a new name!!!!

Of course he can use your laptop Val. You will need to log off the forum and he'll need his own email address but other that it will be fine.
