:funny:
And have you noticed how often we wander off topic. Thank goodness for the mods, they keep us on track

What do I get out of this forum?

It ‘s a super social network forum and that is the truth. I have met many wonderful forumites during various trips to KNP, during a few meets in Gauteng and during the cricket weekend last year!

In my honest opinion this forum is not really geared for serious issues like speeding, poaching, killing an ellie for the pot, gunshots at night, harvesting of Mopani worms, Hotel developments, bad service, etc, etc! We are not enough active forumites to take note of and I think that is the reason why many of our concerns and questions to SANParks are not addressed. Most of our legitimate concerns have fallen on deaf ears and we haven’t really made a difference, or did we? :hmz:

CC, I think you expressed what a lot of forumites think! Thanks

Perhaps not a 100% success rate, Theuns  but forumites sometimes do make a difference 8)

Yes, indeed, this is a good idea.

Our colleagues in the Tourism department have tasked this up, so it will be done in the near future.

Thank you, all.

This is a super forum, made up by all the different mites. We all have different personalities, different professions and different points of view.

Some of us are back benchers; others are very much front benchers or even on the podium, making stormy, yet emotional speeches. Some us love big roaring lions while others love cute little fluffy dassies. Some loves ellies and others love birds.

Some love camping, others love guest houses, some have point and shoot cameras while others have super zoom lenses and state of the art cameras. Some of us engage in furious debates while some of us read and take it all in. Some of us are short tempered and shoots off the handle easily and some of us are mellow and mild.

Some of us are American, Canadian, English, Scottish, Dutch, German, Swiss, Australian and some are even South African, we come from all over the world.

I can carry on and on… but all of us share one thing, the passion for wild life. We spend an incredible amount of time and funds to live out our passion and love, also here on the forum, we post photos, we share with one another, trip reports and everything else.

We are a sample of the population that visits our parks. We are the sum of the parts which makes this forum the wonderful place it is. Things are left or right, black or white, up or down, but TOGETHER, we are one. Like it or not, love or hate each other, we are all one.
I Salute you all.
