There is a certain degree of comfort in the anonimity of hiding behind a forum name.

If anyone takes exception to what I say, it was always my alter ego who said it.

Also, if it was discovered who I really am, I would have to kill an aweful lot of people to protect the real me.

Thing is, I been a member of a few forums for so long now, I don't remember who I am supposed to be when. Who is the real me?

Other names I go by. Slave (no, don't ask) Lycra Loon and a few others I dare not mention. (National security you know.)

Errr, we call them leg warmers. No lace but they do have that soft silcone rubber to keep them up. :P

Arm warmers too.

As you can see, I'm a bit of a mongrel (pavement special)

BunnyHugger is a musketeer and has nothing to do with National Security...but he is one of those cyclist weirdos...

Seriously, though, one thing that I agree is irritating is old forumites "rejoining" under new names...my opinion only...

Only when you wear the lycra face warmer mask as well. Then we look like multi coloured ninjas.

Whew. It seems I hav managed to keep my cover in tact. You almost blew my cover there RP. In fact I almost blew my own cover by coming very close to ripping my lycra in a recent cycling accident. Luckily I landed on the grass pavement and not the road, so that saved me the "road rash". Unfortunately, the grass wasn't quite soft enough to help save the ribs and collar bone. Broke 6 ribs and pretty much shattered the collar bone. Recovery is slow and sometimes painful. Especially when I laugh.

In reality I am a sometimes serious cyclist with a passion for nature and conservation. (The cycliing thing is very under "lycra" cover.)

I especially enjoy being able to cyle in one of the local reserves close to home. Nothing like hearing the birds chirping and seeing the antelope (Eland, Zebra and others) while working up a high heart rate and a bit of a sweat. (All under wraps of course.)

Thanks Elsa. Recovery is happening but more slowly than I would like.

It only hurts when I laugh.

(And it really hurts to cough. Sneezing is one of those got to go home, shower and change the clothes events.)
