Unable to connect for almost a week (then only sparsely and twice); being kicked out persistently. E-mailed mods as directed - twice - but sadly no reply: perhaps too busy sorting problem!

Neither Firefox nor Safari working, and for three people in the same area! Does area (e.g. Jhb or Cpt) play a role, or are there other factors why certain mites are "targeted"?

Well, mods and IT obviously sorted problem ... at least, for now.

After deleting cookies and all a couple of times I can finally post a reply or stay online longer than 2minutes

A bit premature....

But the latest is that the server company and SANParks are going to have a chat to see what can be done. Software wise all options (know to date) have been tried.

Bad this morning for me. I get to read the new posts in about three topics then I get logged out. Delete cookies and files, log back in, read three more then start the whole process again.

Please give the IT guys a BIG pat on the back from me

First time in a month I've not only stayed logged in, but managed to post without being dropped

We will have to rectify that quickly ...

Let's see monday morning, because it is already 16:45 and it is friday

As of this morning, I cannot log in to the forum using Internet Explorer. As soon as I log in and attempt to navigate anywhere, I am sent back to the login page. Cookies and cache are not a problem, but have been deleted. This seems to be the same issue as was experienced 5 or 6 months ago by a large number of people. I am able to log on with Safari, but would much prefer IE. Please advise what I need to do to get back on.

Use Safari, Chrome, Pale Moon or Firefox.

Which version of IE are you using?

I am using IE8. I am not familiar with Pale Moon. Never did really like Firefox, and had way too many problem with Chrome when it first came out as it was very buggy (even though my brother was one of the team that made it!)

Pale Moon is sort of Firefox, but way faster than Firefox. I use it the whole time.
Chrome isn't my fav, but it is a very good browser.

IE is.... Very unsafe!

But to solve your trouble, it's 99.99% sure that it is a cookie and/or cache problem. As far as I know there have been no changes made to the site. And you seem to be the only one with the problem, while 73.6 % of all visitors use IE. (13.5 % Firefox and 7.4 % Safari)
