I've got some of those tickets in the past, one of them was my trailer driving on his own in Kimberley.

I dont think some of you are taking this serious enough

In my mind ive already been banned from SA and Kruger for 3 years and im awaiting release from prison!!

John I know how you feel!!

As you may know we spend 6 months each year in SA, but we don't have residency, so we have to apply for a 3 month extension to our normal 3 months holiday visa.

It used to be a simple matter, of going to our local Home Affairs Office in Port Shepstone, and filling the required forms in and paying the fee...........they stamped our passports, and that was it!!

Now everything has to be sent to Pretoria..............and boy, does that present problems!!!

Last year, we applied as soon as we arrived, like we always do, but by the time we were due to fly home six months later, our application was still"pending".

We were assured that it would be ok, but we had a scary time at the airport, until the manager came to sort it out!! I had visions of a permanent ban, a prison sentence and a hefty fine!!

Hope you come right here.......you seem to be getting conflicting advice.

I have had 2 offers to pay the fine for me and then repay the kind people when I arrive in SA, may I say publically a big thank you to both,
