I will be caravanning in Knysna from 23 December to 02 January and would dearly like to secure a mooring for my Gemini Duck over this period. Any contact details and confirmation of process in this regard for a relatively inexpensive mooring will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Elsa-- Not sure how much actual clout they have but I think theres been a SANParks office right on the lagoon as far back as I can remember unless I am confusing it with Cape Nature. I think the lagoon itself falls under SANParks jurisdiction but I think we need a mod to confirm exactly what their powers are with regard to the lagoon itself. There is no camp or SANparks facilities as far as I am aware but the lagoon itself is well and truly protected with its seashorses etc.I remember having our lifejackets checked by SANparks some years back. Or was it Cape Nature .... Mods?---

You have to get a licence from Sanparks for any activity on the Lagoon now, I think?

Thanks DuQues Remembered that Cape Nature Offices are in Plett so it was always SANParks at Thesens.

Well, I have learnt something new, I really didn't realise the lagoon was SANParks.
