Re: confirmation letter lost

Unread postby steamtrainfan » Mon Mar 05, 2012 9:50 pm

Hi All. I have mislaid my confirmation letter :wall: :wall: and only have my EFT proof of payment for the deposit and my reservation number. I do not know what my client number is. I have searched the SANparks website but cannot find a contact e-mail for this type of query. I just want them to e-mail me a copy of the confirmation letter. Please help.

Sorry I forgot to mention that the reason I need the confirmation letter is that on it is the balance I owe and the date it must be paid by. We are only going end of July but I do not want to lose my reservation because I have not paid the balance timeously.

Just phone one of the reservation offices and give them your reservation number...........they will then resent your confirmation letter...........I usually phone the Pretoria office...........very helpful people!!!

Pretoria Reservation House Tel: (012) 991 0758
Fax: (012) 991 1048

Hope this helps.......... :gflower:

I also suggest that everyone registers with the online booking system. This does not mean you have to use it to book, but if you register, you can view and manage your bookings via the system. So in STF's case, he could just log on and resend his confirmation letter to himself.

Register here - llink to online bookings

It is important that when you register you use your current client number. The rest is as easy as 123.

Booking headaches!!

Unread postby Gemma T » Mon Sep 03, 2012 8:26 am

I have spent at least 30 minutes on hold to central reservations this morning trying to get booked for next year. Each time aftter 10 minutes the system has kicked me out, given an engaged tone and then gone dead! I'm calling from the UK so this is costing a lot of money!!

I don't mind being on hold, if I get through and get to do what I need. But this was so frustrating and costly and in the end pointless!

Come on SANParks, this isn't really acceptable!

Hi Gemma T,

I can understand your frustration.........even more so because you're call from the UK.

Try one of the Satellite offices. They answer quick and are very helpful

Reservation House (Jhb)

Tel: (011) 678 8870
Fax: (011) 678 2575

Reservation House (Pta)

Tel: (012) 991 0758
Fax: (012) 991 1048

Today will also have a huge volume of calls, at I would imagine at all booking offices, with it being the first working day of the month and booking for Aug 2013 opening.

Did try the other satellite offices too, but no joy!

Thankfully got sorted as a friend based in Jburg made the booking for us, as he was also on hold!!!

So all booked and ready for next August!!! Yay!!
