A Stitch in Time for Webcam Future

Unread postby DinkyBird » Fri Oct 12, 2012 7:46 am

Do it for the Mobile Webcam and maintenance of the present Webcams

Remember the most exciting day in SANParks webcam history!!! Thanks to these webcams, we all can enjoy a window onto the world of our beloved parks from where we sit at work, or at home, or even while on the go.

Each month an Embroidery Work, made and donated by Sharifa, will be auctioned and half the proceeds will go towards the Mobile Webcam Project and the other half towards the maintenance of the present Webcams.

You now have the opportunity to own one of these amazing works of craft, that have taken many hours and much skill to create while you will be assisting with two major forum fund raising projects.

Sharifa wrote:The chiming clock that we had for many years packed up. It was going to cost just as much as a new clock to repair :hmz: what is a woman to do. What about something more personal. Something I would enjoy looking at each day.

Animals, maybe birds. I decided on birds. So I started working on an embroidery with birds. This took me two months, working about an hour or two a day to complete. It was a hit with friends and relatives and I got some orders.

This one is for the Webcams. Next month something different

As ever, Sharifa delivers.

I am going to start with the reserve price of R1000. I think it is so, so special.

Is anyone going to bid higher than my R1000?

I am so late and so sorry about it, but Lion Queen just told me about this piece of art! Can I still bid or is it too late? If it is still open, my bid will be R1 100,00.
