Rookie - thank you SO much !! I think you hit it spot on with your present observations - cant really think of anything else except please keep them to a reasonable size - ie not an ENORMOUS truck thats the size of 2 or 3 "normal" presents .... we dont want the kids looking at their "normal" sized one wondering why the kid next to them got a massive one - if that makes sense !! I will get the lists from Jannie as soon as I can and then you can let me know if you'd like boys or girls or one of each and what ages you'd like and I PM you the details

I have no plans to go to KTP this year (sadly) so I will need a 'courier'.

Shoot ... hope I got it right and it WAS Bush Baptist but Im pretty sure it was - really awesome "Battleships and Cruisers" games - the ones where you have a grid and "fire" and sink each others boats ....... the guys thought they were amazing !!

What luck you had.

I looked for something that gave a bit of mental stimulation rather than just something to play with.

The other one was a game like Os and Xs where you had to get a row of your colour disks .

What we try and do is to see when we would be able to get all the kids at school, normally (like with Welkom school) we did the hand-out on the day the school closed. So I guess that would be the best time.

We went shopping at our favourite toy shop and sponsored 6 instead of 2 like we said.

We got gifts within the price range for:

2 x Girls 8+
1 x Girl 7/8
3 x Boys 8+

We will drop them off with Jannie at Twee Rivieren.

We will be in KTP just before Christmas, and are flying Emirates. That means we have a baggage allowance of 60 (!) kilos in total.
So if there are Europeans who want to send some stuff over for the drive....

I will be leaving on Thursday 4th October 2012, heading up to KTP for 2 weeks.

Last year I was a courier for this drive, so if any Mites have any Christmas present donations and would like someone to get them there, please let me know and I will make a plan to get your donations.
