What a beautiful piece!!!

Would Sharifa consider leaving some of the future pieces un-framed? I would love to be able to get in on this, but the chances of it arriving in Canada in one piece are probably slim to none, regardless of whether it is via the postal service, or my luggage. If it were unframed, it would be easier to ship, or maybe a pick-up could be arranged. I'm betting that other over-seas visitors would be interested too. It would be an absolutely priceless keepsake. Souvenir doesn't do it justice.

Just a thought.

Hi Timbits :yaya:

I am busy working on the one below for an Argentinian - unframed.

Are you interested in an animal or bird. The next three are all framed already but we can make a plan if you say what you interested in. I also do clocks - see here

WOW!!!!  That is gorgeous. I completely missed the clock when it was posted. :slap: What an beautiful and unique piece. I am so jealous of your talent. I used to do intarsia, but the way I did it was very dirty. Lots of very fine wood dust everywhere, so I gave up before I got good at it. Any "mistakes" ended up in the fireplace. No fuss, no waste

I am a cat person. Your recent leopard sightings in KTP made me so envious. Would you be interested in doing a leopard? Do you create your own designs/patterns?

Thanks a million for considering this. :gflower:

I love working my own photos as they are personal and I feel I can relate to the subject.
You are in luck as I am busy with a leopard that we saw in Kruger, at the Biyamiti Weir. If you want to start a bid for it we can take it from there.

I will be working another one like that Lionspoon, so you are in luck too  If you put an offer for it, it can go in the queue.

Hi Timbits

The egret with chicks is due to close end of February.

The leopard that you see here I am still busy working on it. It will be ready by end of May

I will start the Lady after the leopard is finished so it will be available end of August.

In the meantime I will have another completed picture up for auction in March.

Although that one is also framed :(

Sharifa,
IF no one outbids me and the leopard is mine  , an early September completion date works for me. The logistics of picking it up are going to be a bit of a challenge. We are not spending any time in Joburg. I checked out the cost of a courier to Canada and it is prohibitive.

That leaves me with 2 choices - have it shipped to a willing 'mite in Cape Town and picking it up there, or waiting until September/October 2014, and picking it up in person.

Either way, it's not the end of the world. It will add to the aura of the leopard.

 I wonder what the process is for importing a leopard
