a whole week secured in KTP as from today
3 nights Nossob, my favourite area in KTP

know its still a long while but i cant go wrong

Regarding the bookings via Jannie for the cricket next year:

if they do not pay their deposits as per the deposit requests these units will be cancelled by the system and the units will become available on the global network for any other guests. So to avoid disappointment or lose their booking they need to make sure their deposits have been paid on the due dates.

Each year some mites form a Cricket Planning Committee to help SANParks plan and take care of the admin on the forum side.

We try to keep the committee a reasonable working size, but also to include all those who would like to be involved. The VHRs and mods are represented on the committee, and we have two members of the current committee staying on, PetraJ and Scipio. Jannie is also on the committee.

It is early days, but never too early to start brainstorming and throwing around some ideas. The committee works in a relaxed atmosphere ... it is not nearly as tough going as being on the FAC for example :wink:

But when the event draws near, things do step up a bit and members are usually busy at the event.

Afternoon All,

Sorry for only posting now, but even if we are in the Kalahari and a lot goes around working at Kalahari pace things have just been so hectic around here. BUT I have started sorting out all the booking requests and have forwarded the deposit requests and confirmed bookings.

It was brought under my attention by the Tourism manager that although we did withdraw the chalet bookings on the system and then booked accordingly for the cricket visitors as the requests came in the visitors must please adhere to the deposit pay dates as if the booking expires due to non payment the system will open up the booking for the general public and you might lose your original booking.

Thanks, up to date I must say the attendance for the cricket looks great and those who might not make it will be missing a very typical Kalahari experience.

Just sent an email for our booking for the cricket! Hopefully I can pull this off in the unlikely event that my lotto win doesn't eventuate :lol:

I had a letter from Jannie asking if I would share with anne-marie I was away at the time.. apparently annemarie has paid the deposit But I must pay my share ... I wrote to jannie as soon as i got back but as yet he hasn't answered me. hope I dont loose the booking. I have spoken via PM to anne-marie .. So do hope its fine
DB you said you wanted to go a day earlier and come back a day later As long asAnne -marie agrees that will be in order. Also i see you were looking for some mites to help .. count me in if still needed .
