Please find the link to make your donation to the Angels After Action Fund Raiser
-SANParks Conservation Support on the home page.

Remember all who donate will qualify for tickets in next year's raffle!!!

***Why support this project? Read here. And here.***

Image

Donors supporting the SANParks Conservation Support fund have the choice of either:

donating to a park of their choice, or

of donating to the General Conservation Support (listed as SANParks Conservation Support), where the money will be allocated to a Park in need (especially in the case of some of those less charismatic Parks, which might not receive many donations)
Image

Please note the following when making a donation:

* There are more payment options offered than only by credit card.

* When filling in your first name and surname, put your forum name after your first name in brackets.

* Once you have selected "donate" the donation will go through. Do not select "donate" a second time .... the AAA might love you for it, but your bank manager may not!

* If you have any questions, please PM me.

* SANParks finance will regularly announce the donations received on the forum.

Very NB:

* When making the donation via GivenGain, ensure your banking details are correct when processing the transaction. If you have a quick log on account with GnG - ensure the banking details listed on that account are correct and up to date. Donations without the correct info fail, and this is a cost to SANParks.

* Once you have made the donation, check your bank account to ensure the amount has been debited. If not, can you please PM me. Do this check even if the donation has been announced.

should I leave you to go through all 38 pages of the Rats report for the menu?

Hmm, seeing that work is hectic at the moment, I'll give another R100 if someone finds the menu and saves me the effort of typing it

Thanks Boorgatspook for finding it!

Presume this is now the correct place to post a pledge.

R50 for each time you see a ground hornbill family

R50 for each Saddlebill stork you see

Sorry these are just "plain" challenges and not fancy, fun ones.

this thread is just for the pledges to keep it neat and easy to see what is happening - the chat etc is still on the other thread!

Ecojunkie,

I have booked online and already paid for (but cannot use due to quite unforeseen circumstances) the below mentioned accommodation for Kruger NP during November 2009. I advertised the accommodation on the forum but up till have not yet received any response to it.

Rather to see the accommodation just lapse I'm willing to donate it for free to the AAA Challenge. Perhaps the challengers can sell it to somebody and use the money as a donation.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to do this but please advise me how we should go about this. My mail address = delangv@oaks.co.za

My challenge to you. Use this opportunity.

BERG-EN-DAL: 1 X BA3 Bungalow (3 single beds, Aircon, Fridge, Hotplate, Sink, Utensils, Wc and shower: Arrive 16 November and Depart 17 November 2009. (R670-00)
SKUKUZA: 1 X BD3 Bungalow (1 Bedroom with 3 single beds, Aircon, Fridge, Hotplate, Sink, Utensils, Wc and shower: Arrive 17 November and Depart 18 November 2009. (R720-00)

Hi Ecojunkie,
Had a bit of fun with my son on choosing a few pledges:
1) R 300 for each sighting of two predators (species) together
2) R 200 for each sighting of two fish eagles together
3) R 100 for a group picture of at least 5 blondes (no cheating on this and no wigs accepted!)
4) R 50 for every blonde YR/formite you meet (picture please and no wigs accepted)

Hope this creates a bit of interest to the trip.

Hugs from us all.

@ Micetta

I was looking for one difficult challenge, so I looked at the checklist provided by SANParks under the KNP Mammals. Saw Brown Hyaena, and put it forward as a challenge. Never seen one myself.
Correct me if the Brown hyaena is not found in KNP at all, please. I will pick something else. :hmz:

Somebody says that the brown hyaena is not found in the KNP, somebody says yes; the last one as far as I remember was spotted quite a few years ago (I do not remember the exact years (10?)).
