DinkyBird,

why is it that the angels always poach my players? Last year you guys made Dianne turn traitor and this year, Mel.... but in any case both were dispatched quickly... lol

 now that i am here, i plan on staying (on the forum) lol

Wonderful Sam

I have just one question ... why were the Angels not allowed 12 fielders??

Dinkybird,

In outdoor cricket a side consists of 11 players... uhm...not 12...
so the angels had an unfair advantage with 12 people on the field...

But i also noticed that my side comprised of serious players and then the 1st timers... so i think the competitive drive was there. :D Not everyone understood that it was just a social game and therefore played to win.

Which brings me to another point... some of the ladies on my team were not too impressed with some of the comments from the 1st commentator (i don't remember who he was) and they told me they felt uncomfortable with some of the stuff he said, i am not sure if they were just overly sensitive or if there is some merit to their concerns... :|

Oh dear! I am sure no harm was meant, but we need to ensure no one goes away with an unhappy memory in anyway. Perhaps you could PM me with their concerns and we can follow it up?

Will do.... :D

I also don't think any harm was meant but as we are all from different cultures we need to be sensitive of that.

I hope nobody took offence with any of the pics I took of them. Some really nice expressive shots I think :D
Just tried to portray the event in an exciting and fun way.

So true - and still a huge learning curve for many of us.
