Hmmm... Du Hast was pretty much the be all and end all of Rammstein for me...

Enjoy DD... Metallica still rules though... so don't stress about Imax's choices...

Hitman:Ican report the following....16 lions in total with 2 big males.Leopard.Plenty others.
There has been much debate on the forum if life exists on the infamous S100.

Many members have debated this:

MarkWildDog: As far as i know the S100 is a highway found in Gauteng and not KNP.
Katmal: … I can report the following: Big pride with 3 males, 4 females and 10 youngsters on S100
Jock: The secret for the S100 is to actually keep your eyes open and not to have a granny nap in the backseat with a bottle of beer
DinkyBird: Please tell the musketeers that there is stax of game on the S100. The Angels will have to write a "How to recognise an Animal in KNP" guide for them.
And: Saw four of the big 5 here, with just the elusive leopard hide herself
John n Poppy: We continued along the famous S100 and she delivered a lovely sighting with maximum 4 cars at a time, there were three lioness and two cubs on the side slightly higher than our car.
Baffers: Ahh the notorious S100 again!!!! There are people that say the road has NO animals. Ask oom. Great sightings
Meandering Mouse: It's almost like a visit to the zoo on the S100.
Wildtuinman : Why would anyone want to ruin a great breakfast with a drive on the S100? The heartburn.... and heartache!!
And: I did the S100, yes. I had to pick up one of my wind blown lioness card board cutouts. I also installed a few more buff and ele cutouts.
PJW … and of course the famous S100 road, one of the best for game viewing in KNP
Eugene123... … and driving the beloved S100, recognizing every blade of grass from the past. (Sorry Dotdan, WTM, some people believe in this road!)
And: Please tell WTM and Dotdan that the S100 is HOT!!! Still the best in all of Kruger
Rayb: On the S100 we didn't even see cardboard
And: ... After we had settled in we went for a drive along the famous S100. Nothing!
Boorgatspook: Chicken? You'll have more luck finding chickens on the S100 than predators, not even mentioning 'normal' game. I've gave up many moons ago
Ingrid60: S100 delivers predators, not chicken!!
Foxy: … on S100 route - I told them to go that route after seeing your report(DBs), 3 leopard sightings, lots of birds of all sizes, ellies, rhino, hyena, etc
Chikadee: We decide to drive down the S100 for our afternoon drive. Animals everywhere.
Rusky: Have you seen the shoddy cardboard cut outs on the S100? Can't believe they're paying WTM for those pieces of !@#$
Meandering mouse The S100, to my mind is a must. It is the road where I have seen the biggest concentration of Lion. Because of the many predators, there are also many raptors. ...
Dotdan: Don't waste your time on the S100 Stark...nothing to see there
Joekin: I think you are more likely to see a yak near shitlhave dam as you are to see a real(not a cut out) lion on the S100
Bunnyhugger: Best advice I can give you for doing the S100. Do it with your eyes open. What can I say, it worked for me and I have usually found it a rewarding drive.
Oddesy5466: That morning we saw lion twice on the S100
G@meSpotter: Loved it Very nice pics, and yes......thats the S100! I love that road
Aqua5: quite right - the S100 is great!
Rakker: How great Thou art S100
Wanderw: The S100 also is a favourite with us - lots of lion sightings, and a cheetah too!
Wachinda: SO - Says S100 sucks! (every family have their differences!!!!)

The time has come for a few very brave souls, brandishing dust goggles and a steady supply of cold beverages to prove there is more life on the S100 than in a Laboratory Petri Dish!

The Rat Pack will use their sublime spotting and deduction skills to bust the myth for once and for all.

WILL THE RATPACK FIND LIFE ON THE S100! CAN WE FIND ANY CATS ON THE S100?

This leads to other important questions:
Will DD admit at the end of the trip that cats exist here?
Are there enough trees on the S100 to support the LIT theory.(yes, its only theory)
Did WTM really put cardboard cut outs on the S100, and will he be proved wrong and have to remove them?
Is there a KFC on the S100?
Will Joekin have to take a body break on the S100?
Will there be people misbehaving?
Will we find Sarel van der Merwe in his rally car on the S100?

And the Angels are getting concerned:
Will the rats eat healthily?
Will the rats wash as often as they should?
Will the rats even change their clothes?

All these questions need answers, and the Rat Pack is ready to bust this myth!

Place your bet now if you believe there is life on the S100 (we will see cats there)
OR if there is no life (we will not see any cats)

Come on Forumites lets get this myth busted.

Hitman, an excellent summary of what it is all about- except for the KFC, it is in actual fact a KFG (Guineaufowl)

The Lion King

It looks like your concert was an outside day concert. My increase is based on the actual concert as a spectacle. However i should toss in a couple of extra Rand for your "free" touching. Sorry i mean ticket.

Good day all!

Got home last night after a long 12-hour drive day. WHAT AN AMAZING TRIP! We had success in every regard, with some amazing stories to tell. WATCH THIS SPACE.

For the next three days I will unfortunately have to play catch-up at work, but will try to post as much as I can from my side whenever there's a free moment.

Amazing mammal and reptile sightings, more than 165 bird species seen, good times, long drives, VERY LITTLE SLEEP!

Thanks to the fellow Ratpackers for making this the success it was. Thanks also to Zax for making the effort to visit us!
