although i asked forit to be moved to a holiday or long weekend, i must qualify that the june/july school holiday will just be too busy in the park to accommodate us and the thousands of others who book a year in advance for a few days in kruger heaven. sorry, TG, not aimed at you.

and yes i'm sure the angels can use a player like you in their little team.

Cricket 2009????

The beauty about life is that we do not always see things in the same way as the other person amd what makes cricket Skukuza so uniquae is that anything and everuthing has to be done with such a VAST spectrum of people and by internet.

While I have seen comments suggestions of how the main game needs refining I will offer my personnel experiences after this last cricket weekend.

* The idea of the cricket is based on what the FORUM wants.
* The game IS competitive as a trophy is being played for.
* The Forum perceives the "cricket " as fun

For cricket 2009 I beleive we need to get some feed back from the Skukuza cricket club chairman. We need to get some planning input from him. How does Skukuza cricket club perceive a game against the Forum.
Remember that SCC are an organized team, youg and have a pride for their cricket club, they want to play cricket.

The forum are a mixed team that are their for fun, comradeship and a chance to visit KNP.

The final night do should be at the cricket club.

Would love to be there too! But please next year can we have smoke-FREE zone(s)? I don't mean no-smoking zones - smoke does not obey the rules! I suspect even non-smokers would appreciate this at times.....especially during meals.

I am in if I am spared for the year, EJ as a smoker I am happy to support you on the non smoking policy. 8) As smokers we should consider the health of others.

But pleeeese tel me where Kgalagadi was this year? We should make a plan to get the lads over next year.

Gosh..planning 2009 already!!
Count Les and I in..I'm sure Les will umpire again.
I know when I mention it to Ruth (piker) and Andrew they will be putting their names down. Andrew enjoyed playing ..it was just a shame they missed the braii and Saturday evening having to look after the baby but they thoroughly enjoyed the weekend!
