Golf@Skukuza 2008

Unread postby Ralph vV » Fri Jan 11, 2008 5:33 pm

Hi there guys and gals!

Tshukudu and I are involved in planning a FUN event for Forumites, scheduled for Friday 14/03/2008.
We have decided on a Golf-day, to be played at Skukuza Golf Club, co-hosted by the HR's of the Lowveld Region......

As most of the planning depends on numbers, would you kindly indicate whether you are interested in playing/ supporting this event?

Please note, the emphasis will be on FUN, and Forum member's participation....... (Friends/ Family/ SO's also welcome)

Apart from the novelty of visiting/playing at the Skukuza GC, you may just see that elusive Lion or Leopard, lurking in the rough!

Thanking you kindly,

Ralph vV.

PS: No need to pm, just post replies here please.......
Thanx again!

List so far:
1. Ralph vV
2. Tshukudu
3. Scipio and SO
4. Aboon ?

This is really going to be a fun day for all, so please people we need names asap.

I have seen Buff, Hippo, Crocodile and Hyena on the course already.
It's really not scary at all, as long as you can run quicker than the slowest player in the 4 ball.

Okay ... let me ask you musketeers something here. Does the FUN side of the Golf Day allow for a team of angels playing as one player. Obviously we will decide where we tee off from (like the on the putting green), what shots we will count and which we won't. If we hit any balls into the ruff, water etc - we allowed to retake the shot. If we feel like picking up the ball and walking towards the hole with it, placing it down again and putting it into the hole we may. HippoPat carries our 50kg bag of sand - we do not want to leave pok marks on the golf course. A musketeer is appointed to carry our refreshments. A musketeer is appointed to carry our bag. A musketeer is appointed to carry sunshades and to fan us. A musketeer is appointed to just be on call in case we need him. We will add to the rules as we go along ....

Deal?
