OK there's a Brummie (age 64½) and a MUCH younger Ezio-Fan on their way to Pompey :) Better late than never, just tell us where and when - we'll be there

Excellant. Looking forward to seeing you again. In fact looking forward to seeing everyone.

If it's OK with you all I'll get the cheaper tickets as it's a bit easier with the organising etc. There's a cafe/restaurant where we can have lunch and hopefully hang out for the afternoon, with people coming and going as they please. Then we'll decamp to the pub for more food, hanging out and coming and going.

I'll confirm with PHD today and put confirmed timings up later.
Want to say Thank You or Well Done to a fellow 'mite? Why not nominate them for a Kudu?

OK. All confirmed, booked and paid for.

I'll PM the participants with my contact details to save the spammers from doing even more work and I'll put the timings up later as I'm at work and haven't got access to the documents with them in, but they aren't any different to the ones already posted yonks back.

See everyone in 10 days

Royal Naval Museum Untimed
HMS Warrior 1860 Untimed
HMS Victory 10:25
Mary Rose Ship Hall 11:15
Harbour Tour 12:00
Mary Rose Museum 13:15
Action Stations 14:30
Spinnaker Tower 16:00

I'll be collecting the tickets from the Group ticket office just after 9:30 and I'll hang around there until just after 10. If you arrive after then give me a ring (details will be PM'd later) and I'll come back to the gate (unless it's after 12:00 when I'll be on a boat around the harbour).

The Historic Dockyard has a cafe/restaurant that we can retire to at any point. There are also bars nearby in Gunwharf Quays (but if we go out I don't think we can get back in again).

After the trip up the Spinnaker Tower we shall be retiring to the The Old Customs House for an informal* gathering to eat, drink and be merry.

The Dockyard is part of the Naval Base and so some restrictions are in place, searches, leaving bags unattended etc but nothing too onerous.

If anyone needs any directions or information at all about Portsmouth then let me know and I'll try to help.

PMs coming soon.

*As in I've not made a booking so it will be a free for all, order your own meals when you are ready to eat.

Funny that, I remember sitting outside a pub in London in early April one year sat across the table from you and getting a sun tan.

My positive thinking theory has got KampRunner to the meet (OK almost), so if we keep up the positive thinking then we will have a glorious day in the sunny south.

Just remember not to bring any hats. Hats blow off in the wind. And its windy in Portsmouth.

Was that the year when we hunted for the New Zealand Blue Duck and I got sunstroke?

Wet or dry, it's going to be a good 'un (see, positive - but have I mentioned that I can't swim?)
