Oh yes Buglette didn't take long at all to learn the game and unfortunately I did not get it on camera...I some how or other got stuck behind the big pile of presents and could not see....
This now meant that Scouter's SO had to chose another present..again he managed to find a lovely large one....



Rookie went next ...she was indeed happy with her present. Judging by all the oohing and aahing that was going on I just knew that it was not going to stay on her lap for very long ...



Next up was Rookie's SO Rob...a large-ish heavy-ish box took his fancy



He looked very detirmined when he pick up his present...I think he was trying to intimidate everybody.....
He was indeed thrilled with his little "potjie"



His look said it all.....MINE MINE MINE !!!!
But unfortunately for him Scouter was next and she fancied his "potjie" in a big way......
So up she got and swiped it from him.....



Well Rob made a dash for it ( running away with stolen goods is just not allowed Rob ) but Scouter took no nonsense and detirminedly took what was hers and her face says it all as well.....MINE MINE MINE !!!!



As we can see in the above photo Rob was not a happy camper but it was his turn to chose again. This time he chose two lovely goblets together with a bag of yummy nuts. Again he was smiling and he thought a good way of securing the bag of nuts was to eat them ....jeepers we had to watch this man !!!!!



Next up was Munchkin and what followed was so quick that I didn't get a single photo of it...but she shot up and yanked that cheetah print off Buglette in two seconds flat ....Buglette was shattered but Munchkin was smiling ..when I eventually got something on camera....



That meant Buglette had to go again....she chose another two goblets together witha bottle of sherry.....



Unfortunately I chopped Rob's head off but can you see what he is up to..he is begging for some sherry. OMW....we did have to keep an eye on this man.

Thank you for telling us more about your wonderful meet Caracal! You really had a wonderful (hard) time trying to keep your presents!

Caracal, Having a good old chuckle as we ( John and I) read your narrative of the evenings events.

Munchkin .. you still miffed that capefogiemites stole you gifts !!!!! Next time put the gift you bring in pink girlie paper and no one will want it .. just make sure you have the highest number !!!! The little pot looks grand in my kitchen though the book would have looked so much better . !!!

It was such fun on the night and even funnier when reading it now!

Thanks Caracal for organising and hosting and to your SO, the Braai Master, one of the nicest steaks I have had in a long time!

Wasn't too sure of the gift 'game', but what a great selection of goodies and now I have a better idea of what to look for for next year (please note the self invite to the next one!)
