Wonderful Meet, Great Fun, Good Laughs, Good Company and Lots of SANParks Memories and Stories shared......Thank you Caracal and Mr D - for your hospitality. (Hopefully the cleaning fairy visits before you wake up tomorrow morning )

As usual a wonderful meet, with Big D and Caracal pulling out all the stops. Thanks a mil. Doug and Michele you were amazing hosts. The evening was most enjoyable and worth the long drive.

We had a fantastic meet last night. Thank you to Caracal and Doug for being such good hosts. It was great to see familiar faces again, and to meet Buglette, TonyT and SO for the first time.

Rightie ho..some as promised but only a few as I have another braai here at home tonight so I am a bit on the busy side....

But the table is set..well sort of...the salads and all the yummy food was still to arrive. But seeing that Anne-Marie would have loved to be with us I decided to decorate the table with some of the paper table cloth that Anne-marie gave me on a previous visit. You see Anne Marie you were here in spirit...



And soon the table in the lounge was decked with presents.



Numbers were randomly chosen and Scouter's SO had chosen #1 so he had to start the ball rolling. Nobody likes to start but he ( being the gentleman that he is) put a smile on his face and selected a present. Strangely enough men don't normally select a pretty present wrapped up in pretty-ish pinky paper tied together with shiny pink ribbon and Christmas baubles but this man did....
And with all the eyes in the room watching his every move he wasted no time in opening it....







And that was it..everybody went into "steal mode" The game had begun....

Thanks to all for a memorable meet and most especially to Michele and Doug for being such fabulous hosts!

It was great to see old friends and to make new ones -- and to finally participate in that 'prezzie game' that I'd read so much about!

Well, now that I've been to my first Meet & Greet I hope never to miss another one. It was so good to meet all the regulars.

As for the infamous pressie game, I'm afraid I was the first to start the stealing as I was number 2 and just couldn't resist that gorgeous cheetah. Sorry, No. 1! However, I soon learn't that stealing doesn't pay as Munchkin soon whipped it out of my hands. And so the game went on. Luckily, I could drown my sorrows in a lovely goblet of Old Brown.

Thanks to Michelle and Doug for being such gracious hosts and for creatiing such a special evening. And Season's Greetings to all those that couldn't make it this time.
