Yes, I agree with Ndloti, but the guides give you a Medical kit that you need to carry with you (fully equiped), and you rotate it between everybody, there should be a sprayable methiolate in there, our one guide got such a kick out of it, when he helped us with the blusters (it burns like hell - methiolate)

On our hike the methiolate and syringe had not been replenished , also plasters were in short supply , so beware !

Only that you must ask the doctor to declare on the certificate that he judges you fit enough to attempt a Recoannaisance Commando selection course .

Note :
The general info pdf file states that the 1st aid kit is intended for emergencies only , the guide is not obliged to dispense non - emergency supplies .

Wow........
Of course you should take your own kit with you with headache pills and stuff aswell, but you carry a BIG First Aid kit with you, so ye you might as well use it .........

As you can see, in the red block the First Aid Kit, you carry with you on your hike.

Just to make myself clear, you should take your own medical aid kit with you, but they wont mind if you use their medical aid kit.

I propose, that between the 8 of you, you should pare up and divide the medical kit in two, one having the pills and stuff and the other one with the plasters and stuff, indoing so you minimize your weight ........

Just a suggestion.

Another usefull item is a "camel back" water bladder that fits in your backpack with a pipe that you can drink from , then you can drink at leisure without having to get hold of your water bottle .
