Hi

Was doing a trip report and was advised to post insects here as i would have a better chance of someone advising what they are.

Hi Kesheshe, nice pictures and good to see people taking an interest in the small
things.
Third picture I think is a Net-Winged Beetle of the Lycidae Family. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me.

Take care wherever you are,

Peregrine Falcon.

kesheshe,

As PF states, the 3rd appears to be a Hook-winged Net-winged Beetle (Lycus melanurus) though it's hard to be sure from the angle.
I am still working to identify the armoured fellow in the first photo! Have sent a copy of the photo to an Entemologist friend for help.
Great photos by the way!

Agree with AjayB.... I think it is a Tailed Net-winged Beetle Lycus trabeatus

Hi kjii

Quite confident it's a Slender Net-winged Bettle Cladophorus marshalli of the Lycidae family.

Stunning pic

Hi kjii

Just to add... according to the book I have, this family appears to have only three beetles.

The one I mentioned in my previous post.

As well as the Tailed Net-winged Beetle Lycus trabeatus and Hook-winged Net-winged Beetle Lycus melanurus
