Location: Johannesburg - too far from the closest Sanpark
I couldn't find much about this creature on the internet. Here's what little I did manage to find:
Scientific name: Microchaetus rappi

I took these photos (not the best I've ever taken) in MZNP in December 2007. We were lucky to catch it:

Wierd creature seen in MZNP.

There were three of them down the road. Snake size.
The body was contracting / expanding towards the tail and there was other such movement in the middel....

wow wonderful RJ . Those are giant earthworms :clap: :clap:

The South African giant earthworm can grow up to 6 or 7 meters long - they are huge :big_eyes:
