It's been far too long since I've been (6 months), and I have no idea of when my next trip is, but it probably won't be this year.

I'm having some serious withdrawal today and I'm not sure there's any cure.

I don't think there is a cure , but planning your next trip (even when not sure when it will be) is great fun, Skywalker

I agree with Matthys, plan your next dream trip even though you don't have dates. Plan a trip to Kgalagadi, too, or one of the other parks.

Catch up by writing a trip report if you haven't written one. It's a good way to stir up your memories. If you're all caught up, turn it into a photo book.

Read some of the older trip reports, the locked up ones that are condensed...easier to read a lot quicker.

Buy some new camera equipment and test it out at a zoo or on the local inhabitants.

Sorry to hear you are having a bad day, skywalker2251. It's awful being homesick! I agree with Matthys and Chickadee though, plan your next trip or write a trip report of one of your previous trips - it really is the next best thing to being in the park again - it is amazing how the memories all come flooding back again!

All good ideas. Maybe I'll work on some old photos when I get home from work
