I donated via EFT it works fine so check the Bank details and try from your own accounts

Thanks to all, but I'm afraid that none of them work. We will be in Kruger in May, so we will make our donation there.

We have raised almost R27 000 via the GivenGain site and I will give you an update on the direct donations in the the SHR bank account by tomorrow.

Also note the donation of clothing and food which can be made at King David Linksfield school in Johannesburg on Friday 1 Feb. at 10:00. This is a once off event!

Please keep up the support!

This morning I dropped off, at King David's School, Linksfield, 6 black bin bags full of men's, women's and girls' clothes. I handed them to Ossendryver's father (nice to meet him!).

I hope the flood victims can make good use of the clothes. For me it was a wonderful excuse to go through the cupboards and donate things that I will never fit into again. Ditto my husband! I also added things that my daughter left behind when she left to go and live in UK.

Come on people - go through your cupboards! It is wonderful to have some space again and to feel that others will benefit.

Hi all.

We have reached R 50 000 in donations!

Still way short of the R 150 000 we are aiming for.

Just returned from handing over bags of clothing, a duvet, sheets and towels at Linksfield school. It was just after 10am and there was already a huge pile of donations. I hope they fit it all into the Landi's to transport it up to the park tomorrow. Well done to all involved for the quick response time, I am sure it will be greatly appreciated by the staff!

I think my donation is made. Everything looked fine but nothing showing on the website! I'll check back soon and see what happens.

Would love to drop something off at the school as well but perhaps a little too far!

Tried again - the number of donations is going up but the details are not showing so looks like I've donated twice. Hey ho!
