I must own up to being highly amused by the term 'social network'.

I have seen pics of about 6 youngsters sitting around a table, all on their bbs, and nobody speaking (by mouth).
A couple on a date doing the same thing.

Social, my posterior!

There is a difference between a conversation over the phone and a social network
By the way it seems that the dad's are the worst with their ipads. When you end up telling your father to put his phone away at the dinner table

With respect, I don't think this topic is going anywhere. :wall:

The "sightings trackers" will continue to do what they do, and us old fogies will do what we do, the old fashioned way.

Status Quo.

I want to throw my 5c into the mix.
As a KNP visitor since the 70's I can guarantee that this kind of behaviour i.e. speeding, traffic jams, hanging out of cars etc.. has always been around. What modern media has done is create much more awareness about it. You never heard of those things because, well there was no means of broadcasting it. The "sighting speedsters" have always been there and probably always will be.
Personally I belong to a FB group where I like to read up in the evenings what people have seen that day. Do I race out the next day to that spot, no, because animals move around.

And to be labeled a "pirate viewer" just because someone comes across another car watching something.... seriously? Just as selfish in my opinion.
