There are quite a few crocs in Rust de Winter dam which is about an hour north of Pretoria in the Elands River.
I have personally caught one with a fishing rod a few years ago. They have been in that dam for ages. . .Way before all the game farms etc. sprung up all over the place.
My brother have also had a close encounter of the scaly kind when we were still kids.
As they say. . . any pool bigger than a bathtub in the Lowveld should be considered to house a resident croc.
