What a spectacular sighting ekoppen :thumbs_up:

We experienced a very similar sighting in December 2011.
We were sitting at the Gudzani water hole (at the far end of the S100 where it meets the S41) when 4 lioness and 10 - 15 cubs came out of the bush and made their way down to the waters edge for a drink.
They all had very round bellies and it was clear that they were thirsty after a long night's feeding.

The cubs were definitely smaller than those in your clip so I wonder if it was the same pride??? :hmz:

How many prides are there said to be in and around the S100? or is it just this mega pride and a few coalitions of outcast males on the fringes of the mega pride's territory?

How big is this mega prides territory? :hmz:

Was blessed saw Mega pride at least pa5rt of it. Saw 8 cubs the others were down the bank eating.

You are certainly welcome to be my shadow but I have an idea that I might do quite well being yours too.
If you enjoyed the kittens you might enjoy a preview of "The cubs of S100" as well.
It still needs some fine tuning.

These were 2 kms from Gudzani turnoff on the S100

This is why the S100 is the ultimate lion road. I will take me family to Kruger in October and hope to find them in the 3 nights we will be spending at Satara. :pray:

The mega pride has been spotted more often on the S41 Gudzani road
