Jan, the usual suspects are still at the dam. We also had 3 cheetah there yesterday. Have asked for offcial feedback.

Watch for fish eagle on bridge. He seems to like fishing off a dead tree right next to bridge.

DinkyBird, that cheetah must have been a brilliant sighting.

The Fish Eagle, we saw the one further down the road from the bridge and then took off from dead tree, and appears to harrash a heron fishing, but the heron was putting up some noise and Fish Eagle had no this afternoon when we went past there. :D

Sunset dam looked a lot better than what it was per your photo, Jan. It was a lot fuller. The activity very scarce, but got a few of the usual visitors.

Glad it is almost full

Not all the Crocs left and were swing around in the small streams. The Storks had a ball with all the trapped fish but on the look out for the Crocs....

The Croc looks hungry! The Stork had better be careful!

Lovely moment captured, Jan.

I had seen how quickly a croc can move at Sable dam recently and got new respect for them.

During our few quick visit, did not spot anything special, except for some regulars. The dam was fuller with every visit, so things were improving daily.

Sunset Dam is very special. We have seen so many animals at the dam.
Every evening you park your car next to the dam and listen to the evening sounds.
And sometimes you see a cheetah.......

DinkyBird, we were so amazed when 2 cheetah appeared at the dam one evening during our stay at LS in 2012.

We were absolutely overwhelmed by the sight of the cheetah.
It was so unexpected, so typical of our beloved Kruger......
