Jan, looking at the :mrgreen: Croc's and Hippos, it is unbelievable the amount of Crocodiles at Sunset. :whistle: :whistle:

I don't have many pictures from Sunset Dam either, and like you I have a challenge to travel there often :lol:
But I will search & share what is relevant.

"Who is afraid of....?"
This hyaena was closely watched by the "Vlakvark" while walking the road next to the Sunset Dam. Both animals were not quite at ease....

Sometimes driving a normal sedan is not that bad.... :wink: we were at the other side of the road, over there the terrain is a little bit lower so shooting at eye level was quite easy.
Sitting in a sedan with lions close by is quite an experience esp. when the lions started to stare.... :shock:

I am with you here eos5d! I experienced that many moons ago in a sedan with the windows open, engine switched off with electric windows! :big_eyes:

My be a record for most species in one image...

Hippo,Hyena,Croc,Stork,Hammerkop ,White crowned Plover,Starling,Doves,Blacksmith Plover and Heron...

12 species in one image......only at Sunset dam :thumbs_up:
