Even two Kori Bustards, beautiful birds! The wildlife at Sunset dam can be abundance, this is sooooo wonderful to see! At other moments it can be very quiet but if one looks closer even then there are animals to be seen if one knows how and where to look for. (Almost) never a dull moment in the Kruger NP, especially at the spots were there is water.

Thank you for sharing Jan!

Best regards,

Rob

Jan, thanks for proposing to upload pictures to this thread  . I haven't seen the Sunset Dam thread before :( , but will follow it now, and promise to upload a picture every now and then. Sunset Dam is a wonderful place, and we always spend some time there. I will start with some of the pictures we have fresh in mind from our recent visit, and then later look in the archives from previous visits.

Sunset at Sunset Dam March 2014.
The visit was dominated by rain, thunder and storm, but we managed to see the sun between clouds one late afternoon.

Hi Lisbeth,

Welcome at the Sunset Dam!

Wonderful colours in your picture, it almost looks like colour infrared photography.

It's good to see others posting pictures as well ( I am running a bit out of them )

Best regards,
